Furnace for processing aluminium coils

The aluminium coils treatment furnace is a chamber furnace with material loading by means of an external loader.

The maximum operating temperature is 650 ° C and can be reached through heating ramps made by means of customizable gradients suitable for the type of treatment to be carried out, in compliance with the required performances.

Heating usually takes place by means of preheated air burners installed in radiant tubes.

Alternatively, heating can also be achieved by means of electric resistances.

The heating is indirect, i.e. the flame of the burners never comes into contact with the material being treated.

the hot fluids are channelled into special cavities, directed on the material through slits made in the metallic sheet of the internal structure and recirculated in the chamber by means of a recirculation fan.

The insulating lining provided is specifically designed to ensure optimal performances of the furnace and it’s made of materials suitable for the operating temperature and the required process characteristics.

Peculiarity of the aluminium coils treatment furnace

A peculiarity of these systems is the application in an inert nitrogen atmosphere with the installation of radiant tubes inside the cavities of the kiln. In this way, it is possible to use the furnace in two different configurations, in a protective atmosphere or in air, depending on the production needs.

The radiant tubes are therefore typically associated each with its own recuperator with the aim of preheating the air entering the burner and consequently making the combustion process more efficient.

Automation guarantees control of the entire process, interfacing with the company supervisor.

This type of system is designed and built to comply with the regulatory standards and the class of belonging of the furnace that the Customer requires (AMS – NADCAP).
